Faculty Council meeting — Jan. 26, 2022

On Jan. 26 the Faculty Council heard an update on campus public health and approved a proposal regarding granting Harvard College credit for remotely taught Harvard Summer School courses. They also heard proposals regarding changes to the description of the Standing Committee on Athletic Sports and changes to bring the Rules of Faculty Procedure up to date with current Faculty legislation and terminology. Finally, they reviewed the draft schedule of the meetings of the Faculty for 2022–23 and moved the October meeting from the first Tuesday of the month to Oct. 11.

The Council next meets on Feb. 9. The next meeting of the Faculty is on Feb. 1. The preliminary deadline for the March 1 meeting of the Faculty is Feb. 15 at noon.
